Nutrition is an essential part of performance. No matter what kind of athlete you are, functional fitness to power lifting, team sport to ultra endurance, ensuring you are fueling your body properly with good nutrition is one of the best ways to optimize performance. Our program will teach you proper nutrient timing (appropriate fueling for before, during, and after workouts to optimize recovery), nutrition for specific events, hydration and electrolyte needs, nutrition for injury recovery, appropriate supplementation and supplement safety, and more.
Body Composition & Weight Management
No magic pills or impossible diets. Whether you are trying to lose weight, gain muscle, or just alter your body composition, we will provide you with the tools to give you freedom and flexibility in your eating habits to help you reach your goals and be comfortable with food and yourself! Our mission is to guide you through sustainable lifestyle changes and finding balance with food to help you succeed. You will do this while LEARNING the appropriate portions sizes and specific macronutrients for your body, NOT by using standardized plans, drastic calorie deficits or cutting out food groups.
Nutrition for Overall Health & Wellness
Research has shown over and over again that proper nutrition is imperative for overall health and longevity. Taking control of your nutrition can also help decrease risk of some health conditions and diseases. Our program will provide you with the tools and education you need to improve inflammation and the health of your joints, bones, gut, heart, and brain through nutrition. We can help you not only increase, but MAXIMIZE your energy levels through nutrition to increase quality of life in day to day activities! If that wasn’t enough, addressing health concerns you may have like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GI issues,, etc. with nutrition interventions can help control and improve these states as well.
Services
At Simply You Nutrition, we strive to give you a unique nutrition experience. Instead of telling you exactly what to eat based off some generic standardized plan, we teach you how to appropriately fuel yourself while reaching your goals in a sustainable way based on portion sizes. This allows you to have flexibility for when life happens and doesn’t leave you without options when you feel like mixing up what you eat! All our meal building tools are tailored to each individual based on their nutrient needs and goals. If we do our job correctly, our appointment should leave you feeling empowered with the nutrition knowledge and freedom to reach your goal!
Consultation:
As part of the consultation, we will review lifestyle and nutrition habits, medical history, and more. After reviewing this information and clarifying if any additional information will be needed, your dietitian will create your meal plan and we will teach you how to use this meal plan and all the tips for success that come along with it as well as give you feedback on any supplements you are taking and any additional nutrition questions you may have!
At follow-ups, we will troubleshoot any questions or challenges you have with the meal plan and address any additional nutrition questions you may have.
Strategy Session:
At strategy sessions, we review and answer any nutrition topics or questions you may have, review your current routines and offer strategies to hit goals. Topics can vary from general nutrition to weight gain, weight loss to overall health and wellness to performance nutrition to what you saw on Netflix, etc. During our free discovery phone call, we will review the questions or nutrition strategies you seek, and then schedule a time to discuss through them all at a Strategy Session!
Simply You Nutrition is currently accepting insurance! We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Medcost!
Self-pay and HSA are also accepted and superbills are available for other insurance policies!
